Perhaps aging has me aware and concerned about the state of our planet 30 – 60 years from now. Something I see in abundance at my school are the twisty caps from applesauce/fruit pouches, bottle caps and lids from containers. In an effort to reduce trash, give back to my school and benefit my students as well as you, these activities were created with those thoughts in mind.

This post is intended to do two things. If you don’t see a link, the activities you see before you were my created by me using Montessori design principles so they can be utilized by all learners! Incorporating Montessori design principles aims to develop the child’s fine motor development, concentration, independence, order, and prepares the child for future academics.

Laissez les enfants tranquilles !

Situation classique : je sers un yaourt à Alban, il n’en veut pas (comme à chaque fois que je lui en ai proposé, pour l’instant), ferme la bouche, essaye d’attraper la cuillère, met les mains dans le pot, commence à en mettre partout, je lui reprends la cuillère des mains pour continuer à essayer de lui en donner… cette diversification qui ne marche pas, les autres enfants qui sont déjà nourris depuis longtemps à la purée et Alban qui ne veut rien d’autre que son biberon de lait…  la tension monterait-elle un peu ?

Et puis à un moment je me dis allez, LÂCHE PRISE 🙂 (là c’est au sens propre !) Je lui laisse tout (je lui retrousse juste un peu les manches… vieux réflexe) et je tourne le dos pour ne pas voir le massacre !
